American Pillow Machine Company, LLC (APMCO) is a marketing representative for machinery manufacturers. Thus, the following warranty is provided by the manufacturer, with no liability placed on APMCO by the manufacturer or customer.
The manufacturer warrants that seller-installed new and reconditioned machinery and parts will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment to the customer.
Defective parts may be required to be returned to the manufacturer, with prior notice, to receive proper credit.
Labor to repair or replace defective parts is NOT included in this warranty. Labor charges will be invoiced as required. Labor charges include cost of technician's time for work and travel, transportation, lodging, meals and other incidental expenses.
Used Non-reconditioned or AS-IS machinery and parts are not warranted unless specified in the sales contract as "in running condition" or "with all parts", and only to the extent of the sales contract description.
Machinery and parts purchased without installation service are warranted only to the extent of material and workmanship. No warranty, expressed or implied, is attributed to the usability or production expectations of any part or machine.
Machinery and parts purchased with installation service are warranted to be installed correctly. Proper operator or maintenance training can be provided at that time. The customer's goal of usability or production expectations can not be guaranteed, and therefore no warranty, expressed or implied, can be assumed.
The customer is expected to provide proper maintenance for the machinery. Basic guidelines for maintenance procedures can be found in the equipment manual provided or upon contacting the manufacturer. Obvious abuse, misuse or neglect of the machinery may result in voiding any warranty, expressed or implied.
Every effort will be made by the manufacturer to ensure customer satisfaction regarding its equipment. If, however, third party arbitration or legal procedures are in order, those procedures will take place in the state of North Carolina, county of Gaston, USA. Any deviation of this agreement must be by mutual agreement between both parties.
The terms of this warranty are subject to change without notice prior to sale. This warranty may be superceded, in writing, at time of sale, making the above terms null and void.
Operators should always be aware of the safety issues of the machines on which they work. This machinery has several pinch points. Care should always be taken when working around the machinery and especially when performing any maintenance activity.
NOTE: When performing maintenance checks and services ALWAYS be sure that the machine is off and the power is locked out.
DO NOT clean the machinery while the machinery is under power!
There are several pinch points on the machinery. They are easily recognized where the cylinders, drive components or apron rolls are exposed. DO NOT reach into these pinch points while the machine is in operation.
As with any machine with moving parts and human operators, reasonable care and attention should always be paid to the safe operation of the machine. If it looks unsafe, DON’T DO IT!
The manufacturer provides appropriate safeguards on new and reconditioned machinery (to include bolted panels, safety switches and guards). Any alteration by the customer or operator of these safeguards is the full responsibility of the customer and is not done with the knowledge, intent or approval of the manufacturer. The customer is responsible for appropriate operator training regarding safety hazards and equipment checks. The manufacturer and APMCO maintain no liability or responsibility regarding the safe operation and maintenance of purchased machinery or parts.
